Research assistants - Alemanha

The European Legal Studies Institute of the University of Osnabrück has openings for eight

research assistants
(Entgelt-Gr. 13 TV-L, 50%)

Ideally appointments will be from 1st August 2009 and are initially for terms of two years with the possibility of extensions for a further three years. Salary is on the German E 13 TV-L 50% scale.

The successful candidates will form a research team with expertise covering a wide range of European jurisdictions and will work on the law of obligations and property law.

Candidates must be graduates of law, preferably of a Member State other than Germany. They must be proficient in English; knowledge of German is an advantage. Researchers will be able to complete a doctoral thesis or other research in parallel with their work in the team.

The University is eager to increase the proportion of women within its academic personnel. Women are therefore particularly invited to submit their applications and given equal qualification will be considered preferably.
